Just ahead of National Police week, the Colorado State Patrol has planned a time for the public and law enforcement to come together to remember fallen officers in the state over the past year.
The Colorado Law Enforcement Memorial (CLEM) ceremony will take place Friday, May 6th at 10 in Golden, Colorado. The Colorado Law Enforcement Memorial is located at 5055 S. Golden Road, Golden, CO 80401
The news release from the Colorado State Patrol states:
The names of nine Colorado law enforcement officers who died in the line of duty in 2021, along with the addition of the names of eight historical Colorado line-of-duty deaths will be formally added to the state’s memorial. With the addition of these seventeen names, there are now 342 officers’ names engraved on the Colorado Law Enforcement Memorial.
