(La Junta, CO) -- It's not exactly work that always gets a thank you but crews are out in the heat this week to replace equipment and install a new transformer near the newly remodeled McDonalds on the Highway 50 frontage road in La Junta.

According to a post on the city's social media page the upgrades are being completed due to the fact the old was no longer enough after the restaurant chain recently finished their remodel. The difference between the old and the new is explained as the difference between "a bulk cruiser and the big Cornellian ships Han Solo was going on about."
We thought you'd like to see some photos of the crew working hard. The work is being contracted out and it's estimated that they might be done in a week or so.

One comment on the original social media post stated that he hoped this would allow the chain to finally fix their ice cream machine.
