Happening Now in Colorado, Another wildfire in Boulder

More evacuations to an area already hard hit by wildfires last year. KRDO Channel 13 is reporting that Boulder police are saying that up to 19,000 residents will need to leave right now as the fire in burning and threatening homes. About 130 acres were burning and no containment as of 6:30 MST.


This hour, Boulder fire tweeting that firefighters are working actively in the Stony Hill neighborhood and south to protect homes IF the winds shift west and cause the fire to spread toward the City of Boulder.

In Southeast Colorado, the forecast for Sunday has winds up to 25 miles per hour. Be extremely careful with outdoor activities.
