Electric Cooperative Offers Opportunities to Travel for Youth Members

If you turn on a light switch in your rural Southeast Colorado home, you're getting your electricity thanks to a rural electric cooperative. These not-for-profit rural electric co-ops provide services to their members or the folks who buy the electricity.

All expense paid youth programs are one of these services or benefits.

Southeast Colorado Power Association is now taking applications for a trip to Washington DC for June of 2025 and a week long leadership camp the beautiful Glenn Eden resort in Steamboat Springs, Colorado.

You just have to get your electricity from Southeast Colorado Power Association, and apply. These trips are best for 10th through 12th grade levels.

If you want to see a little more about the week in Steamboat Springs, here's a video to check out.

The deadline to apply for the camps is December 31, 2024. Download the applications at https://www.secpa.com/youth-programs
