(Denver, CO) -- The next time you go to renew your license plates, should it be after January 1, you will not be able to keep your old plate. It was brought up in a presentation to lawmakers. The Colorado Department of Transportation or CDOT says it’s part of Senate Bill 069 which was signed into law this year. According to the legislation, if you want to keep your same numbers on the plate, you can apply to do so. This pertains to personalized plates too.
