Otero county clerk and recorder Lyn Scott reports that the ballots are in the mail and should be in your mailbox soon. Scott also reported to county commissioners that the office conducted LAT which stands for Logic and Accuracy testing. The clerk and recorder reports the testing went well. Meanwhile, the Bent County clerk and recorder sent out a text that ballots for that county were sent last week. There was no mail on Monday due to Columbus day or Indigenous People's Day as Colorado now celebrates it. Clerks say if you haven't received your ballot soon, give them a call.
