Social Media was a buzz Monday with BNSF railroad families concerned about what a new attendance policy would mean to them. According to the Star Telegram in Fort Worth, where much of the company's business is headquartered a judge in federal court will decided today, Tuesday January 25th on whether to block a strike planned for February 1 by two unions that represent the conductors and engineers. The company claims they need to change to attendance policy to make sure workers are available but workers say the one they're implementing is too strict. Workers would need to be available for work as much as 95 percent of the month and could face penalties for calling in sick.
